Gary W. Hall is the president and founder of SynergyAVE and Press4Emergency.com. He has more than 25 years of experience in a broad spectrum of business related responsibilities, including directing as many as 150 employees, in companies with annual revenues in excess of $25 million. Gary has led these companies through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes, and in doing so he has held practically every position from entry level field work and answering phones, to marketing, promotion and advertising, to top-level management.
From 1987 to 1997, Gary worked for Security Signal Devices (SSD). Gary was hired as an entry level Field Security Technician and was the 12th person in the company. As the company grew, Gary grew with them; he was moved into an office position in 1989 and was promoted to Service Supervisor in 1990. SSD moved into their new corporate headquarters in 1992 and Gary was promoted to Service and Installation Manager and managed 34 Field Technicians and 18 Installers. At the age of 25, he was profiled by SDM Magazine on the cover as one of the up and coming people in the Security Industry. SSD expanded into four locations and Gary was promoted to Operations Manager and had the responsibility of setting up each location and ensuring that their daily operations were in line with company policy. Soon, SSD had grown to 8 locations and over 250 employees. When SSD opened up their Palm Desert, CA office, Gary requested a transfer to run this new enterprise. Gary grew this start-up division to $3 million in sales in just 18 months.
From 1997 to 2007, Gary worked for CS Security & Sound. Gary joined forces with the gentleman who had originally hired him at SSD in 1987. Gary was the fourth employee at CS and quickly put into effect a strategy that would quickly change their $600,000 in annual sales to millions many times over. Gary's marketing plan and sales initiative created sales revenue beyond even his own fertile imagination. Gary was featured in SDM magazine again for creating a business model that capitalized on the booming production home industry. His personal sales went from $750,000 in his first year to over $6,000,000 in year three. He was instrumental in growing the company to over $12 million in sales, over 115 employees and creating one of the most talked about and profitable companies in the A/V industry.
From 2007 to 2010, Gary joined Radio Active, Inc., one of the Coachella Valley's most respected car and home audio / video firms. The existing owners wanted to move forward and change up their game plan to accommodate the coming downturn in the economy. With Gary's help, they were able to initially cut unneeded expenses while retaining all their employees. As the downturn worsened, Gary continued to hone down expenses where needed, kept the company integrity intact, and maintained the profitability of the business. Employees were challenged to cut costs wherever possible, and in return were rewarded for their efforts. He was again featured in one of the A/V industries top magazines as a person who took pride and success to a new level in this industry.
In 2010, Gary has been putting more effort into his own companies, SynergyAVE and Press 4 Emergency (P4E). SynergyAVE will continue to draw on his expertise in security and audio / video and will also include a division of the company devoted to digital signage and content creation. With accounts like The Palm Springs International Airport, Andalusia County Club, The Golf Resort at Indian Wells, and The Thermal Race Track, Gary's vision and creativity is clear to all those who know him. Now that the P4E concept is coming to fruition, Gary has come full circle in his security background by creating a business model that is generating very significant attention among highly placed industry insiders.
